My Approach

I offer psychotherapy services to help people heal and navigate a range of issues including depression, grief, anxiety, and compulsive behaviors (like substance use). I’m particularly interested in supporting those who struggle with relationships, sexual issues, and attachment related trauma. I’m also passionate about supporting adult-children of parents with mental illness.

To address my client’s goals, I take an engaged, dynamic, relational approach that is responsive to them in the moment. This method is all about using the client-therapist relationship as a . In my work, I find it important to offer short term, practical relief while also attending to what lies below the surface and fuels unwanted patterns.

As my client’s progressively share more of their inner world with me (especially that which has remained just beyond awareness) their conviction, agency, and sense of self is strengthened. This generally leads not only to relief from the symptoms of emotional pain, but also addresses the root causes of suffering.
